1 . Financial Holds

Cashier's Minor Debt Owing

This financial hold is placed on your account if you owe less than $199. This hold will only prevent you from receiving your transcripts, but does not withhold any other services.

Cashier's Financial Hold

This hold is placed on your account if you owe more than $199. This hold will prevent you from all services including registering for classes, requesting transcripts, ordering parking permits, applying for graduation, and prevents pending financial aid from disbursing.

When Holds are Removed.

Financial holds that have been resolved will be removed from the student account by every odd-half-hour. For example, holds will remove at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, and will continue 24 hours a day. Please wait until this time after you have made a payment to see that the hold has been lifted.

2 . Intent to Enroll Agreement Hold

For information on how to remove this hold, visit the Student Center Guide. The Intent to Enroll Hold must be cleared every semester. Once you have completed the requirements, the hold will be immediately lifted.

3 . Immunization Records Holds

A registration hold will be placed on your account unless the health center has copies of your immunization records. Go to: http://wellbeing.humboldt.edu/Immunizations regarding immunization requirements. Failure to submit the requested records will prevent you from all services including registering for classes, requesting transcripts, ordering parking permits, applying for graduation, and prevents pending financial aid from disbursing.

4 . Mandatory Advising Hold

All continuing students must meet with their academic advisor before they register to get advice on their academic progress and to discuss schedule plans for the coming terms. The mandatory advising hold can only be removed by your advisor. Failure to do so will prevent you from all services including registering for classes, requesting transcripts, ordering parking permits, applying for graduation, and prevents pending financial aid from disbursing.

5 . Admissions Hold

If you have not provided transcripts from another institution, you will have a hold placed on your student account. Failure to provide the requested documentation will prevent you from all services including registering for classes, requesting transcripts, ordering parking permits, applying for graduation, and prevents pending financial aid from disbursing.
