Parking Permits

Fall 2021

***Effective August 1, 2021, Parking & Commuter Services will return to full operations. Humboldt parking permits will be required while parked on campus, and meter fees will be enforced.

Staff and Faculty permits for the semester or academic year will be available for purchase at the Humboldt Cashier’s Office on the 2nd floor of the Student Business & Services Building by the end of July.

Permanent employees or temporary lecturers with a 12 month contract can participate in the payroll deduct program.

Payment will be required when picking up your permit. The first payroll deduction will be processed following the purchase of your permit. For inquiries on the purchase amount, please call 707-826-6789. Please bring a valid ID.***

Parking permits may be purchased for one or two semesters. Evening permits are also available at a discounted rate. Staff permits may be purchased only by employees working half-time or more. Student employees, student assistants, etc. do not qualify for staff permits. The static decal permit must be placed on the lower passenger side corner of the windshield. The permits can be taken off and moved from vehicle to vehicle and will not leave a sticky residue on your window. Permits are not valid at parking meters. Parking meter fees may be paid in lieu of a permit. Parking and Meter regulations are in effect every week throughout the year regardless of breaks in instruction. This will include permit and meter requirements between sessions, Thanksgiving and Spring breaks, and Winter Recess.

The days and hours of these regulations are:

  • Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 10:00 pm

  • Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • 52 weeks per year
